British Business Bank
Becoming the British Business Bank
British Business Bank plc (BBB) is a state-owned economic development bank established by the UK Government. Its aim is to increase the supply of credit to small and medium enterprises (SMEs) as well as providing business advice services. It is structured as a public limited company and is owned by the Department for Business, Energy and Industrial Strategy (BEIS, formerly known as the Department of Business, Innovation and Skills or BIS). The bank has its headquarters in Sheffield.
Financial Marketing supported the British Business Bank though its transition from Capital for Enterprise. FM created in-depth case study collateral covering the organisation’s portfolio of debt and equity interventions. It also created and managed a series of events, the most high-profile being the UK wide roadshow to introduce the British Business Bank. Post-launch, Financial Marketing developed a comprehensive series of workshops for the entire team, from discovery sessions to create the stakeholder value propositions, to fully and deeply embedding the brand.
